Learn more about Wordle

Every day Wordle presents you with six rows of five boxes, and it’s up to you to work out which secret five-letter word is hiding inside them.

You’ll want to start with a strong word like ALERT—something containing multiple vowels, common consonants, and no repeat letters. Hit Enter and the boxes will show you which letters you’ve got right or wrong. If a box turns ⬛️, it means that letter isn’t in the secret word at all. 🟨 means the letter is in the word, but not in that position. 🟩 means you’ve got the right letter in the right spot.

You’ll want your second go to compliment the first, using another “good” word to cover any common letters you missed last time while also trying to avoid any letter you now know for a fact isn’t present in today’s answer.

After that it’s just a case of using what you’ve learned to narrow your guesses down to the right word. You have six tries in total and can only use real words (so no filling the boxes with EEEEE to see if there’s an E). Don’t forget letters can repeat too (ex: BOOKS).

Originally, Wordle was dreamed up by software engineer Josh Wardle, as a surprise for his partner who loves word games. From there it spread to his family, and finally got released to the public. The word puzzle game has since inspired tons of games like Wordle, refocusing the daily gimmick around music or math or geography. It wasn’t long before Wordle became so popular it was sold to the New York Times for seven figures. Surely it’s only a matter of time before we all solely communicate in tricolor boxes.

Slowbiz not showbiz- How Playdate maker Panic avoided becoming a ‘garbage’ tech company

Playdate maker Panic isn't a startup, despite what you might think. The 30-person company has been around for 25 years but is often viewed as a fledgling go-getter that has just burst onto the scene.

During his GDC 2024 talk, Panic co-founder Cabel Sasser dissected the company's origins through the lens of Playdate, and posited that Panic is often billed as a startup because it practices something called "slowbiz."

"Let me explain what that means. We're a different kind of tech company. We're playing the long game. We gradually level up year after year. We never had investors. We never had shareholders. I think when you have shareholders, they're kind of used as a scapegoat for your bad decisions," he says.

"We have no one to scapegoat. Every decision falls on us. We never took any seed money. In the real world of business, this is actually pretty normal—like [if you we…

Barbie Company Mattel's Matchbox Movie Reportedly Brings On Extraction Director

Following the huge success of Barbie, Mattel Films is making a movie based on its line of Matchbox toy cars, and now a director has come aboard.

Sam Hargrave, who directed Netflix’s Extraction movies starring Chris Hemsworth, has inked a deal to make the Matchbox movie, according to Deadline. Skydance and Mattel Films are producing the movie together.

There are no plot details available as of yet for the Matchbox movie. But Hargrave’s hiring might suggest the film could go big on stunts and action set pieces, given Hargrave is a former stuntman himself who applied his skills to the Extraction series.

Hargrave is also directing the pilot of the upcoming Apple TV+ drama The Last Frontier and is attached to make the action movie Stay Frosty for Warner Bros.  Come from online casino bangladesh

FIFA 22 Gameplay Video Shows New HyperMotion Technology And More

EA Sports has published a deep-dive video for FIFA 22, featuring developers speaking at length about the football game’s HyperMotion technology, tactical AI, reworked goalkeeper system, and how player feedback has informed the new game. The video is impressive in its depth and breadth, so fans of FIFA may want to grab a coffee, kick up their feet, and enjoy.

The HyperMotion system appears to be a major step forward toward helping improve the authenticity of the presentation of footballers on the pitch. In the past, EA used to bring in only a small handful of players who would run around on a soundstage to have their motion recorded. Come from Sports betting site VPbet

But with FIFA 22 and its HyperMotion system, EA recorded 11v11 teams with players wearing full body suits to capture data from real players on a real field playing a real game. This data is then fed into EA’s own proprietary machine learning system…

Super Mario Party Jamboree Review – This Party Is Too Crowded

After a significant post-GameCube slump, the Mario Party franchise showed signs of new life in its first two titles on the Switch. While both Super Mario Party and Mario Party Superstars were commercial successes and well-received by fans, the former leaned a bit too heavily on a new Ally system while the latter was essentially a “greatest hits” of classic maps and minigames. As the console approaches the end of its lifecycle, Super Mario Party Jamboree ends this Switch trilogy by attempting to find the sweet spot between its two predecessors and stumbles into an issue of quantity over quality in the process.

One aspect that Jamboree inarguably has going for it is sheer quantity. Nintendo touts this entry as having the most playable characters (22) and most minigames (112) in any Mario Party ever. A big roster isn’t necessarily a bad thing, although I have one nitpicky complaint about Bowser’s inclusion. I’ve got no beef with the man—he’s been a playable …
