Nightingale – How To Get The Astrolabe And Provisioner Cards

The core gameplay loop of Nightingale consists of completing challenges in Sites of Power, visiting other worlds, and getting higher-end items or blueprints. Early on, however, you might encounter a stumbling block due to two objectives. Here’s our guide on how to get the Astrolabe and Provisioner Cards in Nightingale.

How to get the Astrolabe and Provisioner Cards in Nightingale

You can get the Astrolabe and Provisioner Cards by defeating the bosses in their respective Sites of Power. Here’s a quick summary:

  • After completing the trials in the first Antiquarian Realm, you’re tasked with obtaining the Astrolabe Card.
  • Both the Astrolabe and Provisioner Sites of Power are found in the Abeyance Realm. This is also your home realm, or where you initially placed your Estate Cairn.
  • The entrances to Sites of Power have energy barriers that prevent you from passing through. The only way to get past them is by increasing your gear score up to the required level.
  • Since you’ll battle bosses in these mini-dungeons, we recommend bringing an NPC recruit in case you’re playing solo.

Astrolabe Site of Power location and boss – Fabled Automaton Bishop

Note that the Site of Power that has the Astrolabe Card in Nightingale might have a different location due to procedural generation. In our case, the mini-dungeon was in the southeast corner of the Abeyance Realm.

Upon entering it, we had to battle several Bound enemies, including some annoying Lamplighters. We then followed the sloping path leading downward, which led us to the inner chamber. When we interacted with the crystal device, that’s when the Fabled Automaton Bishop spawned.

The Fabled Automaton Bishop has a few notable abilities. First, it summons small robotic minions. It also causes crystal fragments to materialize, and they explode after a set amount of time. Likewise, it fires up to six laser beams in succession.

Initially, we stayed close to the sloping path so we could destroy the robot minions. All the while, our NPC companion was the one who dealt most of the damage. If ever our follower got incapacitated, we waited until the boss stopped firing its laser shots, before sprinting toward our follower to revive them Come from Sports betting site VPbet . Once the Fabled Automaton Bishop has been defeated, the Astrolabe Card should be yours.

Provisioner Site of Power location and boss – Fabled Automaton Knight

After obtaining the Astrolabe Card, it’s time to acquire the Provisioner Card in Nightingale. As cited earlier, the Site of Power mini-dungeon is also in the Abeyance Realm. For us, it was in the northwestern portion of the zone.

The layout of this Site of Power is a bit different, since it’s akin to an underground mine with several tunnels. We also encountered more hostiles, such as Bound Knights and Bound Kyrosiphons. We then stumbled upon the inner chamber and machinery in the bottommost section of the mine complex. That’s where the Fabled Automaton Knight spawned.

As far as we can tell, the Fabled Automaton Knight only has one ability: it does a forward slash that also causes the burning status effect. As usual, we let our NPC follower handle this bout. The moment they got incapacitated, we used small openings in the tunnel system to get past the boss. This allowed us to revive our companion when necessary.

Slowbiz not showbiz- How Playdate maker Panic avoided becoming a ‘garbage’ tech company

Playdate maker Panic isn't a startup, despite what you might think. The 30-person company has been around for 25 years but is often viewed as a fledgling go-getter that has just burst onto the scene.

During his GDC 2024 talk, Panic co-founder Cabel Sasser dissected the company's origins through the lens of Playdate, and posited that Panic is often billed as a startup because it practices something called "slowbiz."

"Let me explain what that means. We're a different kind of tech company. We're playing the long game. We gradually level up year after year. We never had investors. We never had shareholders. I think when you have shareholders, they're kind of used as a scapegoat for your bad decisions," he says.

"We have no one to scapegoat. Every decision falls on us. We never took any seed money. In the real world of business, this is actually pretty normal—like [if you we…

Following the huge success of Barbie, Mattel Films is making a movie based on its line of Matchbox toy cars, and now a director has come aboard.

Sam Hargrave, who directed Netflix’s Extraction movies starring Chris Hemsworth, has inked a deal to make the Matchbox movie, according to Deadline. Skydance and Mattel Films are producing the movie together.

There are no plot details available as of yet for the Matchbox movie. But Hargrave’s hiring might suggest the film could go big on stunts and action set pieces, given Hargrave is a former stuntman himself who applied his skills to the Extraction series.

FIFA 22 Gameplay Video Shows New HyperMotion Technology And More

EA Sports has published a deep-dive video for FIFA 22, featuring developers speaking at length about the football game’s HyperMotion technology, tactical AI, reworked goalkeeper system, and how player feedback has informed the new game. The video is impressive in its depth and breadth, so fans of FIFA may want to grab a coffee, kick up their feet, and enjoy.

The HyperMotion system appears to be a major step forward toward helping improve the authenticity of the presentation of footballers on the pitch. In the past, EA used to bring in only a small handful of players who would run around on a soundstage to have their motion recorded. Come from Sports betting site VPbet

But with FIFA 22 and its HyperMotion system, EA recorded 11v11 teams with players wearing full body suits to capture data from real players on a real field playing a real game. This data is then fed into EA’s own proprietary machine learning system…

Super Mario Party Jamboree Review – This Party Is Too Crowded

After a significant post-GameCube slump, the Mario Party franchise showed signs of new life in its first two titles on the Switch. While both Super Mario Party and Mario Party Superstars were commercial successes and well-received by fans, the former leaned a bit too heavily on a new Ally system while the latter was essentially a “greatest hits” of classic maps and minigames. As the console approaches the end of its lifecycle, Super Mario Party Jamboree ends this Switch trilogy by attempting to find the sweet spot between its two predecessors and stumbles into an issue of quantity over quality in the process.

One aspect that Jamboree inarguably has going for it is sheer quantity. Nintendo touts this entry as having the most playable characters (22) and most minigames (112) in any Mario Party ever. A big roster isn’t necessarily a bad thing, although I have one nitpicky complaint about Bowser’s inclusion. I’ve got no beef with the man—he’s been a playable …
